A small building just outside of the East Gate of huge Preah Khan temple. The entire area was rather spooky - probably because we were some of the only visitors left just before sunset.
Inside Preah Khan you can see some of the rubble and sheer scale of the complex. Preah Khan was originally built in 1191 as a monastary and learning center by King Jayavarman VII.
A beautiful sunset from from atop Phnom Bakheng. The temple itself was cut from the rock that made up the hill that it sits on. From the top, you could see Angkor Wat, the Great Lake (Tonle Sap) and many miles of fields and jungle.
