Outside of every temple there is usually a group of people (often young children) selling water, books, and souvenirs. This little girl was sitting near her mother and was playing with a sandal while her mother tried to sell souvenirs outside of Ta Som.
A small building just outside of the East Gate of huge Preah Khan temple. The entire area was rather spooky - probably because we were some of the only visitors left just before sunset.
Inside Preah Khan you can see some of the rubble and sheer scale of the complex. Preah Khan was originally built in 1191 as a monastary and learning center by King Jayavarman VII.
