After not being able to find this traditional dish when I was in Peru, I made sure to seek out some cuy this time. When we ordered, they took us out back to watch our guinea pig being roasted.
Freshly roasted cuy - it really does taste like chicken. However, it was more expensive and yielded less meat than a chicken, so I'll just stick with poultry from now on.
