A view from the back of our apartment on Prinsengracht. The view was roughly North, and rather than overlooking a canal, we had a view of the gardens below.
The living room inside our apartment on Prinsengracht. Rented through Air BNB - we really liked the location!

Visiting family and new baby! He was very excited to get to climb on the chairs!
Back at the apartment to relax and play a bit.

A tram passing over one of the canals - the trams were very convenient because you can catch them right in the middle of the road.
Lots of bicycles in Amsterdam.
Dinner at Lo Stivale d'Oro. This was the fresh buffalo mozzerella which was delicious! The one downside - you had to pay for water ("no tap water"), but at least they served you in a wine glass...
One of our all-day walking trips with a quick stop on a canal bridge.
The sanctuary inside "Our Lord in the Attic" - a hidden Catholic church from the era when Catholocism was illegal in Holland.

Train ride into Brussels.
Brussels' central square - Grand Place. Very crowded with tourists!
Unlike most European trips of late, I got away with a light rain jacket and t-shirt for much of the trip!
We didn't go inside, but we sat out in front of the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula for a while and enjoyed the weather and people-watching.
Selfie while looking at other photos in front of Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula.
Morning rain on the streets.
We randomly came across the Aneessens Tower or Tour de l'Angle while walking through the city. The first wall around Brussels was built in the early 13th centrury - this is part of that wall.
Antique market - a few interesting things to be seen!
The Square du Petit Sablon - a nice park in the Sablon neighborhood. Again, we randomly stumbled upon it.

Inside the Musical Instruments Museum. Quite an interesting museum - very little information on the instruments, but a nice audio tour that let you listen to many of them being played.
Bagpipes!
Creepy part of an old school music player.
