A view of Ponte Vecchio and Arno river. Interestingly, the Ponte Vecchio was the only bridge on the Arno in Florence spared destruction by the Germans during WWII due to its beauty and historic significance. They blew up the buildings at the ends to block the path, instead.
Towers of Barbadori (foreground) and Belfredelli (background) - from the 12th century.
Flowers and a view on the walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo.
